Turnstone Beach House - King Island Accommodation

This  spacious one level home is full of style and was designed for the owners by renowned coastal architect and surfing identity Paul Witzig . It sits right on Porky Point . Turnstone is surrounded by ocean and pristine beaches and nestles in harmony with its environment. Our guests love it.

The house features masses of double glazed windows, with big sliding doors to the deck. This allows you to feel part of the outdoors even if one of the famous Southerlies blows in

Turnstone Beach House has  a PLATINUM Tripadvisor "Greenleader" status .

As the house is on a point  you can enjoy ocean views on three sides. Inside you will find  polished floors, granite bench tops in a superb kitchen, a very spacious living area with exposed beams, a dining table that seats up to twelve if you want to have friends over; a glass fronted fireplace, 2 large bathrooms with Aesop products for your use during your stay.

You will enjoy from all rooms, a  panorama of the Southern Ocean swells and surf rolling onto pristine Little Porky Beach which is a transitory home for  the migratory Turnstone and many other birds including sea eagles, shearwater, gulls, cormorants and colourful pied oyster-catchers. You might even see a whale spume offshore.

 

Walk directly in front of the house to fish or swim in virtual privacy.

Turnstone Rates:

You will see exact details if you press Book Now and enter your dates . There is no commitment in doing that .

The base rate is $920 per night which covers four guests and varies up to $1040 for peak season. In winter and spring we may offer " special rates"

 

The rates cover four people and there ​ is a $35 per person/per night charge for up to two more guests . The maximum is six guests
